I started Arbor Design Advice based on something that I needed, but couldn't find anywhere: Professional interior design advice on individual questions, that I could get an answer to within 1 - 2 days. I wished I had an interior designer who knew my style, and I could text one-off questions to! My Story:

tober 2021, we had an overnight flood that completely destroyed our newly purchased home. My family was displaced for over a year and we decided to turn lemons into lemonade by going beyond restoration and remodeling it to become our dream home. As we figured out how to proceed, my husband and I struggled to make design and architectural decisions with confidence. We hired an interior designer, who was amazing, but I struggled to find an efficient relationship with her since our timelines were constantly in flux between our builder, insurance reviews, sub-contractors, etc. Often, I had an urgent question that I wanted to get right, but needed an answer to within 2 - 3 days rather than weeks or months. I know many homeowners want expert guidance, but struggle to figure out where to start, and how to spend their budget efficiently between design expertise and materials. I want to help homeowners source design feedback on specific topics as they surface -- which would have been incredibly
helpful to me this past year. I also want to help designers build their network of potential clients through micro engagements that also drive remote, incremental income for just sharing your advice.
