Avic! Avic! Calling all avics!

Avicularia are some of the most beautiful and popular New World tarantulas in the hobby today. Most are good webbers, docile, fuzzy and beautiful! One of the only negatives I have to say about them is their use of projectile poo as a defense mechanism! If you haven’t experienced it yet, just wait, you will! 😂
We currently have Avicularia Avic M1, Avicularia Metallica M6, Avicularia Purpurea (the purple pink toe), Avicularia Braunshauseni M2 (Goliath pink toe) and the Caribena Versicolor (Antilles pinktoe).

What’s your favorite Avicularia and which one is currently on your wish list?? If we don’t have it, we will certainly work on getting it for you. Let me tell you, International Carnivorous Plant Society - ICPS and Kenny put on one hell of a show this weekend. Quite possibly one of the most wholesome shows we’ve ever vended.

Even had to call out our partner Patrick Googer at noon, on the first day to run to our building and grab me several more trays because we emptied over 9 trays in the first three hours. This dude traveled over 6 hours through the night with a two hour notice and showed up with a smile on his face.

Credit given where it’s due, ole’ Patty lad saved our butts, and we ended day two with a whopping 13 sundews left, a couple trays of pings (started with 10) and a hand full of nepenthes.

Forever grateful to be included in the insanity of this community. 🖤

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, the great conversations and the new friendships established.
