Update on some recent work...
Stair case remodel. Stairs math was off when they were originally framed and had carpet. I was able to recalculate the proper layout for new hardwood treads. Customer was happy and it was a great project to bring to a finish. I always enjoy working on stairs. The challenges and difficulties are what I like most about them.

I had the opportunity to work with Gleehead Bakery on a project, preparing and applying epoxy flake to their new bakery floor. It's gratifying to see their business thrive and enjoy the outstanding food they offer. I'm delighted to have played a role in this project and look forward to seeing their continued success.

This year, I completed an interior remodel that included demolition of the existing flooring, installation of all new flooring, and additional features to facilitate a seamless move-in experience for this family home. The main house features LVP flooring, while the bathrooms boast LVT flooring. Shoe molding was used to complete the trim work, along with several drywall repairs and other enhancements. It's rewarding to see a project transform a living space in this way.

I completed a small project for a local client sourced through Facebook, where the emphasis was on efficiently completing the task to meet the customer's requirements. The customer had some leftover materials from the initial installation, but there were not enough to match the different-sized boards. The primary objective was to fill the hole to facilitate the installation of the new fixture.

The Milwaukee m12 Jigsaw is an excellent addition for detail work, as evidenced by this vanity cut out. It features a convenient deck tray storage for blades. The right tool for the job, paired with Diablo blades, yields exceptional results.

Here's an addition I built for a couple that need a first floor laundry and craft room. It was a fun project that brought some ease of living to them. I enjoyed the freedom to make some creative choices and bring a much needed space to their lives.
Also they had a local community of critters that visited daily...

Here's another project from the end of the summer... Had water damage from an existing demoed deck that had rotted the studs, top and bottom plates and the header above the French door. Had to build a temp wall to take the bearing weight of the exterior wall. Also used Saschos Lexel to seal and adhere the bottom plates to the concrete and the blocking along with some tapcons.
Also had to replace the front porch posts that had no anchor brackets and were floating in place. Will have more to come with this project in the future!!

This project, which I worked on this summer, entailed replacing the existing gable roof pendants that had been removed by a previous contractor. While operating the man lift, I had the opportunity to take in the panoramic view of Lake Michigan. The resulting aesthetic enhancement to the house was a significant improvement, and the customers were thrilled to have the pendants finally replaced after the previous contractor's inability to complete the project. I was happy to have successfully brought the project to completion, and the customers were extremely pleased with the result and the timely manner in which it was completed. I am happy to have contributed to the successful completion of this project.
