When we moved into this house, there was a dusty, crusty little studio sitting in the backyard, and somehow, I immediately knew it was for me.

I had carried the dream of creating a place like The Bijou House in my heart for years, but I kept waiting for the “right” time, the perfect plan or the confidence to know I could actually do it.

That little studio felt like God saying, “Start here.”

So I did. I started small. I started messy. I started before I felt ready.

Building The Bijou House has been one of the bravest things I’ve ever done, and it has become so much more than a place filled with beautiful things. It’s part of my story and proof that sometimes the next chapter begins when you finally take the leap of faith that’s been on your heart.

And this is only the beginning. I can’t wait to welcome you inside and show you everything that’s still to come. 🤍

The Bijou House isn’t the beginning of my journey.

It’s what came after choosing peace. After healing. After learning to be brave. After finally believing that my dreams matter.

Building this place has required more of me than I ever expected, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It has asked me to stop hiding, trust God, believe in what He placed inside me and actually begin.

For so long, I treated my creativity like something extra. Something I could keep pushing aside. But God created me this way. The things that make me come alive matter to Him because I matter to Him.

The Bijou House is the next version of my story. It’s what it looks like when a woman begins to believe that what God placed inside her is worth making room for.

And I’m really proud of myself for starting. 🤍🥹
