I used custom-cut PVC panels to cover the staples on screen porch . Here is the method I use for painting them: I arrange the eight pieces together. This makes painting the edges very easy; trying to paint them individually is a headache because the edges are so thin. This way is much simpler—I paint the faces and remove the pieces one by one as I finish them. I applied three coats of paint using my turbine sprayer, the graco finish Pro 9.5. It’s been a real workhorse for me; I’ve owned it for over five years and it has never given me any trouble. I’ve made a lot beautiful jobs with it. I love this tool because there is very little overspray—provided you know how to correctly adjust the air and fluid output. The overspray is minimal. Plus, the paint dries almost instantly since the machine blows out warm air. My helper today was my 15-year-old daughter, Valeria; she wanted $50, so I told her, "Sure, come help me for two hours," and she was right there with me. We had a great time and really enjoyed this project. Blessings to everyone, and have a great weekend.
