This is just another reason why hiring a professional tile setter is important.
What this guy is experiencing is called "efflorescence." Portland cement naturally has mineral salt which has found its way to the surface. In very few situations is the cause of efflorescence not the installers fault.
Three circumstances have to happen for efflorescence to happen. Soluble compounds (i.e., salts) in the masonry or adjoining materials, moisture to pick up the compounds and carry them to the surface, and evaporation or hydrostatic pressure that causes the solution to move.
If any of these are removed, efflorescence cannot happen. Hence, why it's normally the installers fault because as a professional tile installer, your role is to anticipate such situations to prevent them from occurring.

We've seen plenty of handcrafted ways to haul waste and materials. Adding walls to a utility trailer and things like that. Some are great and very creative. And some are functional but might not look the best. But I have to say this is my phone be most ridiculous and unsafe method that I believe I have ever seen. Taking a flatbed and basically turning it into a dump truck without the lift. Just wow.. wow. I am lost for words. I want to say the craftsmanship of this upgrade, but I don't even believe Craftsman should be anywhere near this redneck mobile. The amount of waste or materials alone scares me. The gate on the back looks like it's about to fall off. Plus the fact that they are using bungee cords to hold up pieces of drywall to make the walls even higher is crazy. Honestly, what type of psycho thinks that this is okay?
