I’ve had a lot of messages over the past few days asking how to work together, so I wanted to share a few ways I’m currently taking on clients.

Not every project needs a full install or long timeline. Sometimes you just need clarity, direction, or a second set of eyes.

Here’s how I’m working with clients right now:

• Designer for a Day - focused, high-impact time to move your project forward quickly
• 1:1 Design Questions - for when you’re stuck on something specific and need expert guidance

Hi, I’m Brittany 👋

A reintroduction feels overdue.

For the past few years, I’ve been fully immersed in building and operating restaurants, from concept to ex*****on, design, and daily operations. It’s given me a unique perspective of how the commercial projects I’m designing actually perform.

I founded Styled By BO in 2015, creating artful, intentional spaces designed to truly function and reflect my client’s distinctive personality. That foundation has remained a consistent thread throughout my work.

Lately, I’ve felt the pull back to my creative side. The vision, the transformation and the details of the spaces we inhabit consume my thoughts.

So I’m stepping back into design full time and officially taking on clients again.

I’ll be welcoming commercial projects, including brand and space alignment, as well as residential interiors, with a strong foundation in hospitality-driven design. I’m drawn to projects that challenge the expected and invite a thoughtful, creative approach.

If you’re building something new or refining something existing, from personal spaces to public-facing environments, I’d love to be part of it.

The summer of 2016 . . . Luke and I had been back in Greenville for exactly one week from a half a decade stint living and working in Raleigh. We were enthusiastic about opportunity for growth and business in our hometown and were looking to network with similar minded folks our age. We attended our first Young Professionals meeting at the restaurant tucked inside the Hilton, Villedge. We mingled a bit and sat down for dinner with new friends and shared with them our ambitions of opening our own restaurant in this town that was growing as fast as the corn and soybeans fields that surrounded it. Now, in the summer of 2023, we own that restaurant tucked inside the Hilton and last night we hosted our very first Young Professionals meet up. Not much looks the same now that it’s Julep, but the original wine cabinet is still here and serves as a a reminder of how big effort, lots of prayer, and working next to your best friend can bring about the best gifts.

Thanks for supporting these kids dreams, Greenville. We’re so happy to be here.

Life lately. I’m spending my days (and nights) in the restaurant industry. It’s an industry I thought I had left behind in college when slinging drinks and serving plates was one of several part time gigs supporting me through design school at ECU. While I never imagined my days would be filled with managing (read mentoring) kids - much like myself - it has been surprisingly fulfilling. And getting to work alongside this guy and watch him in his element is pretty special. I’ll start taking on design clients, slowly, after summer’s end. For now, I’m soaking it all in remembering these are the days we once prayed for.
