If Picasso was a tile setter! 😂

Customer : can you install large format tile for the pan of my shower?

Tile guy: Yes, I absolutely can!

Customer : .......

Tile Guy: I even used all the scrap. How does it look?

Customer: ........

The moral of the story is don't do this.

Here's a little example of what grout does for the tile job. Grout color is very important to the overall look and design of the tile. I tell my clients, it's the grout and silicone that bring the tile to life!

Here, we re-framed out the existing opening to accommodate a 6' tub. Then re-tiled the surround. Jobs not done yet tho, still have painting and caulking the ceiling to do. As well as finish the rest of the bathroom and trim.

Saw this post today. It's true, don't go with the. Cheapest guy folks. Also, always get references. See pictures of there work, preferably during the process pictures as well. Not everyone can do the detailed work needed, and not everyone takes pride in there work.
Vet your contractors.

Never go with the cheapest option. After having multiple tile guys come give me a quote I went with the cheapest option. Now to tear this up and start over.

Water damage is no joke folks! It causes mold issues, and more repairs than necessary. As soon as you know you have a water leak somewhere, address it ASAP.

Here's a tub to shower conversion. This really transformed the whole look and feel of this guest bath, with a nice basket weave tile, and earthtones, to match the existing color scheme.
