A dining room should be all things elegant, inviting, and an experience!

Being that this dining room is the first room you see when you walk in, we knew it had to create a statement. Wallpaper was a no brainer! And we are deeming this gorgeous French sideboard as the piece de resistance for this room!

Something really special about this space is that beyond the sideboard we curated, all the furniture are heirloom pieces of our clients. We gave new life to the dining room chairs, and refinished the table to ensure they would feel cohesive with the
color palette and are thrilled with how it all came together! It's ready for life's beautiful moments!

We’re so excited to officially welcome you to the new Handley Home Interiors website.

This new space has been thoughtfully created to better reflect who we are, how we approach design, and the beautiful, deeply personal homes we have the privilege of creating for our clients.

Inside, you’ll find a closer look at our portfolio, our design philosophy, our services, and the heart behind Handley Home Interiors.

More than anything, we wanted our new website to feel like our interiors...refined, welcoming, timeless, and thoughtfully curated.

Which space is your fave?

Literally! We partnered up with GotchaCovered of the Carolinas with this project and the results were amazing! Not only did we bring in beautiful texture with these woven wood roman shades, but we also brought in functionality! With the blackout lining, you're able to watch with very little glare in the middle of the day. We created the perfect place on a hot day summer day to grab a bag of popcorn and enjoy your favorite flick!

This bonus room in our Monroe Traditional was color drenched in a gorgeous color by Sherwin-Williams Design Pros - Still Water. We added the acoustic wall slats to absorb sound and add a bit of texture and contrast to the dark color. The cozy sofa helps set the mood for comfy and relaxing movie time!

A classic kitchen never goes out of style!

We loved designing this heritage style kitchen for our client. The gorgeous walnut stain combined with our pops of brass brings add warmth and depth to the mostly white space. Another favorite feature is the shiplap which adds great texture and
really helps create that “older” or more traditional feeling the client had asked for!

This kitchen renovation was designed with one goal in mind - to feel and look timeless!

We incorporated brass antique accents, vertical shiplap, and dark wood tones to give this space a rooted, heritage feeling. If this kitchen does not make you crave one of your grandmother’s recipes, I don’t know what will.

I think if we can all agree on one thing, it is that knows what he is talking about out. Your Home should tell your story!

A word I have been sitting with lately is ‘found.’ A home that feels and looks curated over time, has a natural storytelling ability, and exudes comfort is where we all want to be, right? That feeling is not by accident.  It is intentional. As designers, in some cases, a client has done an excellent job at doing this.  However, in others (and not at the fault of our wonderful clients - this is a difficult thing to obtain!), this ‘feeling’ lands on us. 

Challenge accepted! Creating a space that feels as if it has been collected over time is one of the best feelings. It is a thoughtful process, it is genuine, true to the family, and above all - impossible to replicate.
