In this video, I’m embarking on a massive garden transformation project, starting with the first part of a 1897 landscaping cleanup. Join me as I roll up my sleeves and tackle over a century's worth of debris and overgrowth in the garden.

In Part 1, I’ll take you through the initial stages of the cleanup process, including removing fallen branches, clearing out old w**ds and debris, and removing Ivy and other greenery growing on the foundation and house. As this was a new home purchase for the client, she wanted to make it her own and start with a fresh slate. Due to the Ivy growing through the foundation and siding, there have already been unexpected repairs.

Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, we hope our journey inspires and motivates you to take on your own landscaping challenges. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this first installment of our garden transformation series. Don't forget to hit the like button and subscribe to our channel for more updates on our progress!

Have you ever had a plant/tree/bush get out of control? This juniper was more than the homeowner wanted. After removal we installed some sweet smelling Osmanthus (Tea Olive), Augusta Gardenias and Bloomstruck Hydrangeas. When she sits on the back patio, she will be enjoying the beauty and smell of these gorgeous plants.

As a landscaper/gardener I take pride in what I do. Not everyone wants to be working out in the heat, rain, bugs, etc, but it is something thatvI really enjoy. It takes time to come up with designs, find the right products when it comes to installation, substitute when necessary, purchase the best looking flowers/plants/trees and make a yard better than when I arrive.

That being said, there is only so much I can do. I advise on watering, especially in the heat and how to take care of the new plants. It really frustrates me to get calls/emails/texts when someone decides that nothing needs to be done on their part. These are living plants. While most of them are low maintenance, you may need to adjust your irrigation or hand watering schedule.

Please, if you are installing new plants, pay attention to signs that adjustments needs to be made. It can be over watering or under watering. It can be that you are watering over top of a plant rather than at the roots. Or, maybe, it is that watering is being done in the heat of the day.

I never want to see someone spend money and be unhappy with the end result but let's figure out what the issue is. This goes for anyone who has work done. It's never a set and forget.

It’s summertime. Time to relax in the pool during the hot summer days. But that may be hard to do when you are looking at an overgrown landscape. We were able to remove the w**ds and showcase the hibiscus that were blooming beautifully while adding in trees for privacy. Now these homeowners are able to sit back and relax.

Have you ever noticed how time slips away. You think (or want to) get out in your garden to do a little w**ding or cutting back but something else requires your attention. Before you know it, a week or two or even a few months have gone by and now you are so overwhelmed with the prospect of doing anything.

Is that really a w**d or is it a flower? Should I pull it or leave it? It can be frustrating for sure. A new mom was in this situation and the yard just got away from her. The property was gorgeous with large oak trees and ferns but over ridden with Ivy. After cleanup she was able to see the landscape again and feel in control.

If you are feeling this way we can help.

Have you ever wanted to liven up a fence a little? Add a bit of greenery and flowers. In the spring/summer/fall there will be flowers and all year the Arborvitaes will stay green.

Not only will these provide color but they will add to the privacy, hitting on the customers needs.

I think this patio turned out beautifully. The client had old bricks on the property from the previous owners and wanted to make an area that he could put his grill. While this isn’t something that I do a lot of, I love the way it turned out with the variation of colors.

This has been the year of new ownership 😊.
A brand new home with builder grade landscaping, which we removed. We used a landscaping program to show the homeowner what her landscape will look like in the summer. Since this was done in late fall, she has not had the chance to see the summer flowers yet. But summer is right around the corner.

My lovely client was looking to add landscaping to her new home. We added trees for definition of the property and a small garden that requires little upkeep. She is now able to walk outside of her patio and enjoy her flowers.

This home will be for short term rentals in the NoDa district. They were looking for low maintenance along with evergreens. It was a great project to spruce up a small landscape.
