I’ve come out of Insta-vacation mode to post about being organized for back to school!
I shop for three kiddos this way:
💙print the list and staple it to a bag (paper or reusable tote)
💙snap a pic of book mark the list on your phone to shop. I shopped target.com 🎯 for everything this year and had it shipped🙌🏻
💙as you get the items, drop them in the bag and cross them off the list.
💙take the bags to meet the teacher (community supplies. For individual supplies- put them in your child’s backpack when you know you have everything.)

Do you shop by items and deals or just get it all at once at one place??

I followed the advice of the and decided once what our go-to kid gift would be. It’s easy, both are consumable =no extra clutter, and is always a hit with the birthday kid🥳

Have you heard this? I just said this to a client yesterday. It just means do the hard thing first. You know the thing that you put off, hate, let pike up (I’m looking at you laundry 🧺!)
Just hold your nose, close your eyes, and do it. Everything after will seem easy and you’ll have the satisfaction of getting that thing done.
🐸pile of laundry
🐸sink full of dishes (or a full clean dishwasher)
🐸stack of junk mail and papers?

The days are long but the years are short. A dash of organization helps me be a better mom. If I’m not overwhelmed by clutter, I can be more present with my kids. Not everyone is wired this way, but I’ve never encountered a mom who says “I wish I had more cluttered mess in my house!” 😆
The trick is balance, perspective, and letting the and the systems serve me and my family, not the other way around!

It’s Spring Break and in keeping with our low key lazy days, dinner is an easy favorite: Salad bowls with Red Bag chicken.
💙Here is a tip: don’t mix the salad!

If your family is like mine, everybody likes their salad just a little different. One kid loves tomatoes another won’t touch it, or spinach is the worst thing ever or the best thing ever depending on who’s eating it.
💙 I cut up all the salad fixings and just leave them on my big cutting board. Everyone can make their salad just like a salad bar, exactly how they want it. No fuss and not nearly as many dishes as putting them in individual bowls or even mixing it into one giant bowl.
It’s a spring break win!

Super subtle countertop with.less.mess inspired me to decant our family’s vitamins. Something as simple as uniform jars make the whole thing just look better-it feels more calm.
The vitamins live on the kitchen counter in a cute tray with avocados that need to ripen and a spray bottle to keep the cat off the counters😸 and the little blue basket for sanitizer and allergy meds.
