May is , and we’re proud to celebrate the completed renovation of the terminal at Smith Reynolds Airport in Winston-Salem, NC. This 38,500 SF renovation modernized the historic 1942 terminal. Designed in partnership with Michael Graves, the project focused on reviving the airport’s historic character while introducing thoughtful modern improvements that enhance the overall experience for tenants, visitors, and the surrounding community.

A look at Druid Hills Park, a 7-acre neighborhood park where two separate blocks were brought together into one connected space with a basketball court, walking trails, a community garden, and open areas to gather and play.

C Design designed the 1,600 SF pavilion with restrooms and a covered shelter. The custom tile mural was created by Monique Kollman Luck in collaboration with Images In Tile, bringing color and identity to the space while supporting a more accessible and engaging community park.

C Design was excited to attend the seventh annual CLT Charity Golf Tournament supporting Lift Up Carolinas. Aviation Market Leader Gary Beal was joined by Jonathan Rich of American Airlines and Deanna King and Lindsay Madenford of Charlotte Douglas Airport for a great day supporting an important cause.

This year’s event raised more than $174,000 to support children and families across Charlotte. We’re proud to be part of an industry committed to giving back to the communities surrounding CLT.

A great day at Central Piedmont Community College’s Sporting Clays Classic, where C Designers Joe Humphrey and David Wales were joined by Jimmy Warren of Warco Construction Inc.

Every year, this event raises funds to support scholarships and programs for U.S. military veterans and first responder students at Central Piedmont, impacting nearly 2,400 students.

We were honored to take part in the Structural Milestone Ceremony for the new terminal at Laurinburg-Maxton Airport. The event brought together project partners, community stakeholders, and elected officials, including U.S. Senator Ted Budd, U.S. Representative Mark Harris, N.C. Senator Tom McInnis, and N.C. Representative Garland Pierce.

C Design is proud to be working alongside Southeast Regional Airport Authority and Ardurra. Partnerships like this are what turn vision into reality.

We look forward to seeing the terminal continue to take shape in the months ahead.
