This amount of pressure will easily damage the surface, and though using a fan tip typically will not damage, you also likely won’t achieve the level of clean you’re after.
So why is it so hard to clean pavers?
It is because most pavers are made from a concrete mixture of small aggregates all the way down to fines making it easy for a high-psi pressure washer and an unexperienced operator to remove these fines from the surface. The worst part is these small fines that often get removed in the pressure washing process are also what hold a lot of the color that you love in your pavers. Without these important fines you’ll basically be left with whatever color the small aggregate is. Not something you want to happen!
