✨ From closed off to completely transformed. ✨

This is why thoughtful design matters.

What was once a small, compartmentalized kitchen separated from the living room is now the true heart of this home. By removing the dividing wall, we completely opened the space and created an incredible oversized island that has become the centerpiece for cooking, gathering, entertaining, and everyday life.

Every detail was intentionally selected—from the custom cabinetry and layered lighting to the warm herringbone tile flooring and timeless finishes—to create a kitchen that is as functional as it is beautiful.

It’s hard to believe this is the same house.

This transformation is easily one of our favorite projects of the year because it didn’t just change the look of the home—it completely changed how this family lives in it.

In a place where you are adding a piece of art, one of the most important things to consider is sizing. Ask yourself, “Is it too small or does it fill the area well?” Choosing artwork that is too petite for the location will always look off.

If you are struggling to figure out the perfect size, the best tip is simply to tape it out! This will give you a visual as you make your decision.
