THE HUB

Kitchen design is a labor of love for me. There are so many styles and options that I have never created the same kitchen twice, even when repeating the same house plan. A lot of details go into a well designed kitchen. I ask my clients to start with the appliances. It helps determine what functions the kitchen will ultimately accommodate while also setting the budget.

Obviously the whole kitchen is not shown in this photo but if you could see it all you may admire the way the kitchen was laid out in stations of function around the kitchen. It features a Subzero panel ready built in fridge and fridge drawers, Wolfe cooktop and wall ovens, and a Cove Panel ready dishwasher. Mostly this kitchen features plenty of space for everyone to join in meal prep and gathering.

Centerstage

Created and little freshness with live plants and a grouping of interesting objects. It’s something that can easily be changed out seasonally. One key to success is making sure all the plants require the same amount of water and sunlight in the grouping.

GOOD DOG

My happy little helper inspected all the new rugs, tested each new chair, and helped install the linens on the pretty new bed. Then she popped up on the bed and posed like a pro. 🤣

BILLIARDS

A contemporary room made for getting social at home was the goal.
The scale of the room provided challenges.
Several floor plans, pool table discussions, and a few custom made pieces later and here you have it.
