I have been working throughout the greater Charlotte area for the last 30 years. In order to maintain quality of workmanship, my son and I do all the work ourselves and do not use subcontractors. Because we have worked extensively with landscape architects in town, we've had some of our projects featured in Southern Living Magazine. I am blessed to be able to look at a picture of a structure that

my customers would like to have duplicated and often build it without formal blueprints, though I work with prints as well. In additon to outdoor projects, we have done extensive interior work; wall removal, wall shelving units, mouldings, etc. There is virtually no project in wood that we are unable to complete. We recently completed a full bathroom remodel that improved space usage while adding a larger zero-entry shower and a heated floor. Custom building a dresser (which is inset into the wall) to match the new vanity created an additional 3-4” of drawer depth while reducing the footprint of the former unit. We also inset a box behind a mirror in the water closet to allow space for the homeowner’s jewelry. The change is dramatic and the homeowners are very happy with the project. They decided to embrace popular green cabinets, bringing an updated feel to the room, along with incorporating the growing popularity of wood tones in antiques they owned to enhance the look. They consulted in color and design choices with Ashley Bryant, author of the homelikeyoumeanit.com blog.

We recently completed a fun project that involved removing walls and installing a pocket door to create a pantry in a previously underutilized space adjacent to the homeowners' kitchen. Collaborating with the owners and designing the space to meet their specific needs resulted in a great outcome. This is the third or fourth renovation of this type and in the same space in their neighborhood that we've done; each different, but all with much greater usability for the owners. (This project was completed by 'Dad', rather than '& Son' ) :-)
