While paintings are waiting for their new home, they end up living in mine for a while, and I grow more and more attached.

The longer I live with a painting, the more I’m reminded that art does so much more than fill a wall. It brings authenticity, personality, and a sense of story to a space. A room can have beautiful furniture and décor, but original art is often the thing that makes it feel more alive, like it truly belongs to someone. It changes the atmosphere in ways that are hard to explain until you experience it.

This week, (24”x36”) GRACE is catching my eye daily and beneath her is an original steel work by . I love seeing these two pieces together. The good news is that GRACE is available. The Jay Zinn piece? Not a chance. That one’s staying with me. 💙

“Worthy”

Acrylic + Gold Leaf

Part of my Sacred Women Collection, this piece is a quiet reminder that worth is not something we hustle for, prove, or earn through performance. It is inherent. Given by God. Untouched by rejection, comparison, failure, or the opinions of others.

The gold leaf woven throughout the painting symbolizes the sacred value carried within every woman, not because of what she produces, but because of who she is.

One of the most meaningful details to me is the teardrop-like petal within her eye. It represents the idea that none of our tears are wasted or unseen. Every grief, disappointment, prayer, and hidden ache is held by God. What was once sorrow becomes something sacred, almost like tears transformed into flower petals.

There is strength in softness. Holiness in rest. Beauty in becoming.

“Worthy” was created as both a reflection and an invitation:
to lay down striving,
to remember what is eternal,
and to stand fully in the dignity you were created with.

My journal series was created to inspire reflection, prayer, and personal growth. Looking back through my own journals feels like rediscovering lost or forgotten pieces of myself. Without those pages, many formative moments would have quietly faded with time. Creating this series has been a deeply meaningful, full-circle experience for me.

There is no greater miracle than a new baby!

This child-like interpretation of a fox resting among roses and drifting clouds, was created to celebrate that very truth.

Inspired by Psalm 139:14, a reminder that every one of us is “wonderfully made” I created this with hope it would encourage dreaming.
