I read that today and it stopped me. The truth is—I almost gave up on art. On starting a business. On putting myself out there. And honestly? Some days I still want to.

But I'm so glad I didn’t.

I used to think art was all about skill. Turns out, I was wrong.

When I first started painting, I thought being an artist meant having flawless technique—like if I couldn’t get every detail perfect, then I wasn’t legit. But after years of creating, I’ve realized art isn’t about perfection. It’s about trust.

🎨 Trusting the process when it looks like a mess.
🎨 Trusting that mistakes aren’t the end—they're part of the composition.
🎨 Trusting myself even when imposter syndrome creeps in.

And honestly? That same lesson applies to life. Whether you’re building a business, chasing a dream, or just figuring things out, the masterpiece comes together one step at a time.

A look into my weekend speaking at Clemson on entrepreneurship for the Women’s Entrepreneurship Symposium at the Launchpad 👏🏽🐅

Here’s what I learned:
✨ There’s a bunch of badass women doing some badass things.
✨ It’s more productive to ask “How can I…?” vs “Can I…?”
✨ I’m the only me in the room and in the world. It’s imperative that I show up.
✨ If you don’t know how, look it up on YouTube… and do it anyway.

Thank you for letting me share my journey with Love Neesh Art. This experience pulled some reflections out of me that I didn’t even realize I needed to say out loud.

Derived completely from a song, this abstract painting was such a special commission to work on.

This piece was created for a dear friend—designed completely from the emotions I felt listening to a song. I was able to channel everything I teach in my classes: focusing on the emotions and letting them flow into the piece with presence and intention.

Present-moment focus has become such an important practice in my art—and it's something I’ve also been practicing in my life. It feels amazing to bring that energy into this gift.
