Set your clocks! Tomorrow - Saturday, May 16 - is the Charlton Garden Club Plant Sale on the Charlton Town Common! Sale begins at 9 am and runs until noon. The weather is supposed to be perfect - a perfect day to support your local garden club. Lots of plants and garden treasures to choose from and we accept cash, check, and Venmo.

Once again, the Charlton Garden Club brought a gardener extraordinaire to its monthly meeting. Cheryl Monroe delivered an educational, entertaining, and excellent presentation on all things hydrangea. She described several types of hydrangeas, answered related questions, and provided a comprehensive handout with reference sources and website links.

Stay tuned for more information about our June meeting when Casandra Besse and Kat Stewart from Resourcerer's Apprentice will conduct a seed paper demonstration.

Only three days to go! The Charlton Garden Club holds its annual Plant Sale this Saturday (May16) on the Charlton Town Common from 9 am to noon. The event takes place rain or shine - and the forecasters are predicting sun and 70+ degrees!! Come early for the best selection of perennials, herbs, veggies, shrubs, houseplants, and garden treasures. These goodies go fast!

We will also have a Master Gardener on site to answer any questions and to do soil testing.

We appreciate your support, which enables the club to bring fascinating speakers to the community.

We prefer cash but will accept checks and Venmo.

Just a reminder that the Charlton Garden Club meets tomorrow, Monday, 5/11, in the Community Room inside the Charlton Public Library. Cheryl Monroe will deliver a fascinating program on hydrangeas. You don't want to miss it! The public is welcome to attend.

Thanks to all who stopped by the Charlton Garden Club table during Earth Fest. We are now looking forward to our next event. On Monday, May 11, gardening diva Cheryl Monroe will bring her expertise in hydrangeas to the club. Social time begins at 6:30 pm and her presentation follows at 7 pm. The meeting takes place in Dexter Hall inside the library and all are welcome. You do not need to be a member to attend this meeting. Of course, we hope that once you meet the members you'll decide to join!
