Home inspections uncover damage that you otherwise would not notice.

1) During an inspection I noticed a small hole in the drywall, in a bedroom, which turned out to be an old yellow jacket nest in the wall. They were gaining access through a small hole under the window sill that I filled up after removing the nest.

2) In the shop, there were several chewed wires, like the one you can see in this video. This is caused by rats and squirrels. This is one reason why it's important to have your attic and crawlspace space sealed up from wildlife access.

3) During the inspection I also discovered that the roof was very poorly installed. (always use a trusted, professional roofing company)
The metal roof did not hang past the edge far enough, and there was no drip edge installed, causing plywood on this roof to rot all around this home.

If you're hearing noises, or if you're just worried that wildlife may be able to access your home, give a call for a free inspection.

PSA: I have a zero tolerance policy for Karens.

If you jump in my comment section, or even worse, in my inbox trying to criticize, question, and correct every little thing I do, I will quickly block you.

If you think I'm doing something wrong and would like to educate me, there's a way to do that respectfully, but if you come at me in attack mode, I'm not going to hear anything you have to say.

I got into this business, because I've always loved wildlife. I try to do everything as humanely as possible and follow all Georgia state laws. I do not use snares. I do not use footholds. I only use live traps. The only animals that I use kill traps on are rats and mice, and I am against using rat poison, because it hurts other wildlife.

When there are young, I try my best to keep the mother and their young together. When that isn't possible, the babys are taken to a LICENSED WILDLIFE REHABILITATOR in our area. Thank God, we have some great ones.

I have recently become aware of the low success rate of survival in relocation situations, and will try everything I can to prevent relocation. But sometimes that does have to happen. And when it does, I have always made sure they are released in an area by a steady water source, with an abundant food supply, and minimal predators. Relocation is still far better than euthanization, which is what most companies do.

I'm simply a mediator between man and wildlife, and trying my best to find the best possible outcome for both. You have to remember, at times in these situations, that wildlife is destroying people's homes. And at times even making them and their children very sick, if not removed. So, sometimes the answer to that solution isn't always ideal, but I do the best I can.

So before you decide to jump in the comment section or my PMs in a condescending way to try to belittle me or attack me, know that my peace is FAR more valuable to me than your opinion, and you will quickly find yourself in my lengthy block list.

If you actually want to help wildlife, besides attacking people and making snarky comments on facebook from your couch, then put your money where your mouth is.

Here are my recommendations..

1) Have your home sealed up so that they cannot enter your crawlspace or attic.
(I offer free inspections)

2) Buy some property and turn it into a wildlife sancuary, so that they have a safe place to live and be released.

3) Become a LICENSED Wildlife Rehabber

4) Donate to your local wildlife rehabilitators.
( I recommend Possumbilities )

I have found that it is those who have the strongest opinions on facebook, are those who are least willing to do anything to actually make a change.

Thank you and have a good day. 😀

Please stay away from, and don't touch random wildlife. I just had a customer this weekend, who's little girl had to go to the ER, and start her first round of rabies shots , because she touched a baby bat.
