There is nothing more beautiful
And timeless in an older home than hardwood floors. Unfortunately, our floors take the biggest beating. Between furniture, kids, animals, spills, ect. Although floors can be expensive to refinish, the charm and protection refinishing provides makes it worth it.

As a 1 woman show, refinishing floors are ALOT for me, but I have had the pleasure in the last year to take on a handful and each time I have gotten to step back and see the finished product and customer satisfaction the body aches subside…. For a minute 🙂

This client chose the stain color “Cabernet,” the rich and warm color transforming the space completely.

Here’s a little sneak peak on a project I’m currently working on.

If you are a landlord, you understand that sometimes when tenants leave, they leave your property worse off creating a headache for you which can feel really overwhelming.

There are hundreds of screw/nail holes in the walls in all of the rooms of this apartment, many of which the previous tenant attempted to patch themselves. After a deep scrub off the walls. I was able to get a majority if whatever compound was used off the walls. Most holes I could fill, some required drywall patching. Both required a lot of elbow grease, but the end result is worth it! Now on to the rest.

One of my favorite things about this work is seeing the end result, especially when there is such a drastic change. I can’t wait to see the end result once the carpet is out!

Dining room table refresh! Sometimes you don’t need to buy new, you just need to refresh what you’ve got! This tables has seen its fair share of love through the years, the finish was failing, some water stains were present and the over all color had begun to look yellow.

I took this down to bare wood, matched the stain color to the remainder of the table and applied multiple layers of finish that will protect this table as well as keep the color true to the stain long after its application.

A little about me!

I have been in law enforcement since February of 2019. During that time, my favorite assignment has been being a K9 Handler! My Police K9’s name is Vulcan, he is a 5.5 year old Belgian Malinois and he is also my personal dog.

Last fall we made a change and I began to paint while continuing to work for the Marcus Police Department as a part time Police Officer. K9 Vulcan and I continue to work for the Marcus Police Department when time allows, but some things we have to maintain including our training and certifications for narcotics detection and patrol dog certification.

These last 3 days we competed alongside 41 other K9 teams from the states of Iowa and Minnesota. Along with completing our certification, our 4 man team placed 2nd overall!

Despite the heat, humidity and rain the last 3 days we had a blast, but I am back to get to work! To those that called during this time, I didn’t forget about you, but had to have my focus elsewhere and will get back to you tomorrow!
