Here’s how to make it work:
When to fill:
As soon as a storm is forecasted or temperatures start dropping—don’t wait until the power goes out.

How to use it:
Keep a bucket or pitcher nearby. If your toilet won’t flush, pour water directly into the bowl to force a flush, or refill the tank manually.

Best use:
This water is ideal for non-drinking purposes like flushing toilets, washing hands, and general cleaning.

For drinking:
