My therapist and I were talking about how hard it is to _think_ your way to new habits of thinking, and she passed along this quote. So helpful! *THIS* is why decluttering projects help with mood and mental health. I prescribed myself "deal with giveaways on the screened porch" and immediately felt more energized and less stuck. And most importantly, that energy made it easier to be self-compassionate.

I’m Molly Boren, owner of Simplicity Works Organizing Services. I'll help you gain control over your home or office spaces, saving you time, stress, energy, and money.
In 2005, I returned to the Midwest after seven years in New York City's publishing industry to begin a career in organization. After seven years organizing in Chicago, where I continue to work regularly, I moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan where I now live and organize. I am active in the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals and have been certified as a Certified Professional Organizer (CPO®) by the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers.
My style is compassionate, empathetic, calm, and energizing. Together, we will create systems with minimal purchasing and maximum simplicity. We will approach organizing projects as puzzles to solve, rather than overwhelming challenges. I’ll work with you to break each project down into manageable steps and creatively tailor solutions to your lifestyle. Sessions may include strategy development only or the hands-on work itself, depending on your preference and budget.
Taking control over our lives can start with taking control over the spaces we occupy. I’ve dedicated my career to helping others feel the satisfaction and empowerment of getting organized, and I love sharing what I’ve learned with my clients.
