This toilet was a mess. It was unstable, the bolts were rusted out, and the wax ring didn't make a proper seal.
I installed an XL wax ring and some heavy duty bolts.
Now they can p**p in peace.

These undermount sinks collapse from time to time.
I cut out the silicone, used a quick drying epoxy to set it in place, and then a slow drying epoxy to provide extra stability. Then I re-siliconed the basin interior.

Max vs. Another Window.
Process Below if you have a few minutes.

So when you're dealing with these old messed up water damaged window sills, you can't just paint it and go home. At least not if you want it to look amazing.

Here's the processed I used:

• Scrape, sand, scrape, sand, get all the garbage gone.

• Prime with oil based primer. Oil based primer seals the wood. It's also very sticky so it adheres really well to both the wood and the next phase. Another benefit is the Hiding power - it covers the color and staining really well and prevents color bleed.

• Sand the primer

• Skim coat the entire sill to get rid of the height differentials

• Sand the skim coat

• Touch up the skim coat

• Sand

• Prime with stain blocking water based primer

• Sand the primer

• Prime again with the water based primer

• Sand

• Use a really high end Enamel and dilute it. Diluting the Enamel gets rid of the brush strokes - it enhances the self leveling ability of the Enamel. It takes longer to dry but it gives you that smooth finish.

• Apply 3 coats of the dilute Enamel - Enamel is casually called paint but really it's a coating. It's sticky so you get great adhesion. It also dries really hard so it protects against moisture and it's easy to clean.

• I used a Satin sheen because I think Gloss looks aesthetically unappealing. Plus, over time, any gloss will undergo microshatter and dull out. So you lose the Gloss sheen over time, it becomes harder to clean, and dirt builds up in the shatter.

• If you use a really high end Satin Enamel it will last 10 years.

That was a mouthful but that's what it takes to make it happen.

This is why you need a painter you can trust. 99% of what you want from paint is adhesion - that it sticks to the surface.
I scraped a bubble and that turned into this mess.

This wind is no joke. We are prepping these decks to spray sealer and we went through rolls and rolls of tape to keep the plastic and paper on the walls. For the hard to reach areas we are using spray shields.

Taking a p**p shouldn't be stressful.
This toilet was leaking out the bottom and super shaky when sat on because the bolts were all rusted out.
I installed a new wax ring and heavy duty bolts. No more leaks and no more turbulence :)
