💡 Not every problem needs a solution. Sometimes it needs understanding first.

One of the most common ways we unintentionally disconnect from others is by rushing to give advice before we've taken the time to truly understand what they're experiencing.

Someone shares a dream, and we tell them how to do it.

Someone shares a struggle, and we tell them how to fix it.

Someone shares an idea, and we immediately start building our version of it.

Most people aren't looking for a blueprint in those first moments. They're looking to be seen. To be heard. To explore their own thoughts out loud.

Curiosity creates connection.

Premature advice can shut it down.

Before offering solutions, try asking:
🌱 "Tell me more."
🌱 "What are you hoping to accomplish?"
🌱 "How does that feel for you?"
🌱 "What ideas have you already considered?"

Sometimes the greatest gift we can give another person is enough space to discover their own answers.
