And tomorrow is Friday!!! Friday means Mission Market day and it also means Chautauqua set up day! We are all exhausted! But I for one am excited! I love Chautauqua and am so excited to see what my siblings and nieces are bringing to our booth! There are always surprises! Great treasures for you to take home and enjoy. Mission Market (403 Locust in Chillicothe)will be open this weekend Friday 10-5 and Saturday 8-3. AND Chautauqua is open 9-6 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday! Looking forward to seeing you!

Down to the final two days! The rain and cooler temperatures are a most welcome sight! People might not realize how important a little rain is right before Chautauqua. Why you say? One reason is because it dampens the dust on the trail! I was already thinking we needed to move our tent back as far as we were allowed. If you have ever driven on gravel roads in dry weather you understand…. People walking on dry gravel also stirs up the dust! It is a constant chore to keep our furniture and crafts wiped down when it is dusty!! But God is good … all the time! He knows what we need and He provides for us. That doesn’t mean we get what we want all the time…. There is a difference between need and want and while we can only see a little He sees what lies ahead! I only have a few pics to post right now but plan to add more later tonight or in the morning! Hope you are making plans to come see us! And the countdown is on. Three more days until Chautauqua set up. That means three more days to finish last minute projects amidst all of the other duties life throws at you. It has been crazy busy for us especially the last year as we have had more intense care of our elderly parents and relatives. Some days the struggle can really wear you down but yesterday I was reminded that faith doesn’t require us to know the end result or the path forward. It just requires that we believe that God will be there to walk beside us. And with that tidbit, enjoy some more T-shirt samples. Who needs a Dolly Parton I will Always Love You shirt??!!

We are on the downhill side!!! Chautauqua begins Saturday (9-6 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday) and the weather will hopefully be pleasant!! I refuse to worry about the rain forecast…. We need it!!! We will need to scramble to get our last little projects done. Life threw us a little curveball with an uncles fall requiring surgery. Add that on top of 24/7 care of our dad, it is a little challenging getting it all covered. But God is good…. All the time! We truly believe that. We will be ready with bright shiny faces… we might be dragging a little 😂 but we all enjoy Chautauqua…Seeing friends we only see there, sharing our treasures with customers, family, laughter, food you only get once a year, and all the unexpected things that always happen! Here are some of our fun furniture projects we hope to bring! We do have a few more pieces of furniture and treasures at the Mission Market 403 Locust in Chillicothe. If you haven’t been there or been there in awhile, check it out. They plan to be open 10-5 on Friday and 8-3 on Saturday.

When I got this table it was obvious it had been in a barn. Not sure what life it had lived before but it was already cut down probably from a dining table height. It had been painted several colors… the legs were thick reddish paint with white underneath. The rest had some pink, some lavender and some of the natural wood showing. The previous owner wasn’t sure why someone would make a short table and what would you ever do with it??!! But I was hoping it would be the right height for a child’s table! It was! It wouldn’t be cost effective to remove all the paint so I elected for paint. I decided to go with a farmhouse look instead of bright primary colors so that the table might be able to fit in after children had outgrown it. It has two drops and comes with four chairs. It will be available at Chautauqua in the Eclectic Love Repurposed booth! Come check it out!

Hard to believe the first day of Chautauqua will be half over this time next week! Sure hope the forecast is right for a little cooler weather! There is a chance of rain, which we desperately need but praying it comes in the night! Make sure to stop by the Eclectic Love Repurposed booth. We will be in the big green tent on the west side of the park across from the croquet court and bathroom. And we would love to have you vote for us as your favorite booth. More for Chautauqua!!! These will be in the Eclectic Love Repurposed booth! I promise fall is almost here…. This heat doesn’t make me want to decorate outside but then again maybe we would feel cooler if we think fall 😁. Here are some fun outdoor and porch decor items we will have!
