Well… I stepped waaaaaay outside my comfort zone tonight. 😳🦪

Michael brought these oysters home from Lillie Valley Farms, and I finally got brave enough to tackle them.

And because apparently trying something new wasn’t enough… 🤣
🧈 Homemade butter
🥖 Homemade breadcrumbs
🌿 Lots of garlic, herbs & goodness
🧀 A little freshly grated cheese on top

I had absolutely no idea if I knew what I was doing, but LOOK AT THEM! 😂

Sometimes you just have to get out of your own way and try something new.

That N***y juice was earned! 🍾🥂🤣

N***y makes oysters now. Who knew?! 🤷‍♀️🤣🦪

Stuffed, rolled, drizzled with Piro, seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder, then into the Ninja at 375° and finished under the broiler.

And because I apparently don’t know how to leave well enough alone, I made pearl couscous using the leftover sun-dried tomato oil and finished it with a little homemade butter. 🤤

The verdict?

There was absolutely NOTHING left. 😂👏

No fancy measurements. No complicated recipe. Just good ingredients, a random idea and a hungry Official Taste Tester.

Some of the best recipes really are that Easy Peasy. ❤️🐞

🥣 Waste Not Want Not: Dinner Edition

Tonight’s menu was brought to you by…

Homemade bread + homemade mayo + ham & cheese = DINNER. 🥪

Nothing fancy. Nothing wasted. And nobody went hungry judging by the size of these monsters. 😂

Tonight’s dinner started as a little scribble on a notepad… and apparently we have a keeper. 🤣❤️

🐟 Grilled tuna steaks from Lillie Valley Farm

🌽🫐 Charred Corn & Blueberry Salad featuring fresh corn & blueberries from Nadeau’s Farm & Garden, with red pepper, red onion, basil, jalapeño, feta & a simple lime-Piro dressing

🥔 Crispy lemon roasted potatoes

The salad was the experiment of the night—and after Michael went back for FOUR helpings, I think it’s safe to say it earned a permanent spot in the cookbook. 🤣👏

Good local ingredients, a little creativity, and dinner is served. ❤️

You know how things go in N***y’s Kitchen… 🤷‍♀️🤣

I wanted to make that calls for Bisquick.

Did I have Bisquick? Sure but I want try to make it instead .😜

Turns out, Homemade Bisquick is ridiculously easy to make with just a few pantry staples—and now I have a jar ready whenever I need it.

No box. No mystery ingredients. Just another little staple I can make myself. ❤️

Because apparently my new hobby is looking at things in the grocery store and saying,
“Yeahhhh… I can make that.” 🤣

Apparently I woke up and chose kitchen chaos this Saturday. 🤷‍♀️🤣

🥃 25 vanilla beans + a bottle of bourbon = vanilla extract
🍹 Created a new creamy Boat Day slushie
🥚 Wanted Italian Sub Salad… had no mayo… so obviously I made mayo 😂
🥗 And now a giant bowl of Italian Sub Salad is chilling for later.

All before noon.

Some people relax on Saturday mornings.
I apparently make things. 🤷‍♀️🤣❤️

Just another day in N***y’s Kitchen….. now we are going to play! Lake George here we come!

Well… THAT little experiment was a WIN. 😍🔥🥩

Tonight started with a beautiful Lillie Valley Farms chuck roast, some garlic, rosemary, salt, pepper, a little Piro Olive Oil and absolutely no idea whether my plan was going to work. 🤷‍♀️🤣

Into the Ninja Woodfire it went — a 600° blast to build that gorgeous crust, then down to 325° with some Woodfire smoke until I stopped the cook at 154° internal temperature. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.

The result? Tender, juicy, beautifully pink slices with just the right amount of smoke and SO much flavor. ❤️

Alongside it was my new Tuscan Butter Bean Salad — butter beans, Kalamata olives, sun-dried tomatoes, red onion and herbs tossed in a bright Basil Vinaigrette dressing.

And apparently I don’t need to wonder whether either recipe is a keeper…

😴 Followed shortly thereafter by a full-blown food coma on the couch.

I believe that constitutes an official N***y’s Kitchen success. 🤣❤️🐞
