This hillside had become really hard for the homeowner to keep up with. The slope made mowing difficult, and every heavy rain brought more runoff and mud into the yard.

We were thankful they trusted us to help come up with a solution that would make the space easier to maintain and hold up better long term.

We installed a French drain to move water away from the area, added TN river rock for a clean natural finish, and used geo-grid under fresh black decorative mulch to help keep everything in place on the slope.

It turned out beautifully .. and even better, it should make life a little easier for them moving forward. That’s always our favorite kind of project to be part of. 💚

1️⃣ Entry-Level / General Crew Member
Great fit for someone who:

• has basic landscaping or construction experience
• is dependable and willing to learn
• enjoys working outdoors
• takes pride in their work and shows up ready each day

2️⃣ Experienced Landscaping / Hardscape Team Member
Ideal candidate has experience with:

• grading & drainage
• pavers / patios
• landscape installation
• edging, mulch, plant installs
• masonry experience is a strong plus**

📍 Based in China Grove, with projects in Charlotte, Lake Norman, Mooresville, & Concord.

Today is World Autism Awareness Day 💙

Autism awareness is something very close to our hearts here at Carolina Outdoor Innovations. Our daughter, Cheyenne, is autistic and sees the world in her own beautiful way - she inspires us every single day with her strength, determination, and spirit.

Because Cheyenne feels most comfortable at home, we spend a lot of our time together in our house and especially in our yard. That’s a big part of why creating outdoor spaces for families means so much to us. We understand how important it is to have a place where your family can feel safe, relaxed, and connected.
