Outdoor work- Swimming Pool Service
Compensation: Starting at $20/hr. up to $25/hr. depending on experience
Are you a mature person looking to work PART-TIME on a LONG TERM basis?
Do you enjoy being outdoor and working outdoors alone?
The job can be done in 5 days, approximately 4 hours a day. Or in fewer days with more hours depending on your schedule
2 weeks paid vacation a year (during the off-season of fall and winter)
You will be working alone and have independence
Duties include;
Basic pool service
All our customers are “Chemical Only” or “Chemical Plus” accounts
There is no cleaning of pools involved
Weekly testing and balancing water with chemicals
Emptying skimmer and pump basket and pool sweep bags
Monitoring equipment and basic repairs
If you have the experience you may also be tasked with inspecting and cleaning filters including single cartridges, systems 3 and 4 cartridge filtration systems as well, programming schedules, diagnosing pool sweep issues, and any knowledge associated with basic repairs is not required but a plus!
Use mobile app to take notes on each pool.
Drive a company-provided vehicle on pre-determined daily route.
Maintain vehicle and equipment via daily equipment and vehicle checks before/after each day.
Follow established processes and procedures while maintaining safety
Experience is NOT required as WE WILL TRAIN YOU!
If you do your job YOU WILL BE TREATED WELL
You must be MECHANICALLY INCLINED
You must be able to lift 50 pounds
You must be dog friendly
High School Diploma (or GED equivalent)
Must be able to work outside everyday, even in the very hot and cold temperatures.
Valid Driver's License in the State of California
Clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
The person that fills this position should also have an attention to detail, be customer service oriented, possess strong communication skills and be mechanically inclined.
We need someone we can count on who can follow instructions, likes working alone and will consistently take care of their daily responsibilities, with responsibility comes the benefit of freedom . . .
The job isn't difficult; you have to like working outdoors (hot and cold) and keeping things in order, AND TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR WORK!
You'll drive a company truck and work by yourself (it's a lot of freedom and flexibility for a dependable person).
This a great opportunity to learn a fun trade from an established (27+ years) and successful pool service company. Beginning pay is $20/hour and increases when you prove yourself more valuable (yes, we want to pay you more but only after you prove yourself). If you are good at your job and want to earn more for the company doing repairs or simple filter cleaning we will HAPPILY pay you more.
