What kind of light is…. ?

You buy a plant and the tag tells you the light it needs… yeah ok… if you’re like me…don’t tell me head north then turn east… I need you to say go down here then turn at the subway)

So here’s words and a picture for all types of learners! 😊

1. South facing windows will give you the brightest and most constant light! Everyone loves it!
2. So in-line with #1… north facing is going to be the opposite of that! (think low light plants they stay in their lane and mind their own business)
3. East facing is the next best angle for light exposure. Great light for dramatic plants that love bright light but have a low tolerance to the bright light (Think… loves mornings…like the people at work that talk to you soon as you get in! but the 2pm wall we all hit, they also do too… and then they are done for the day)
4. West facing… these folks/ plants aren’t morning people! They like to ease into their day! Talk to them at noon! So they want peace/ shade in the morning… then bring on the s**t/ sun in the afternoon! (Think plants that like 6-8hrs of fun…i mean sun)
