This is probably the only time youā€™ll see one of these on this page. Although now lumped into Oncidium, the formerly-know-as Odontoglossum are gorgeous, colorful, floriferous plants that require damp conditions and cooler temps (which leads to their demise in my growing conditions). Miraculously, I have not only kept this one alive for over a year but also managed to get this small inflorescence, too! Iā€™m unsure of the long term survivability of this plant with me, but Iā€™ll keep on caring for it and enjoying it thoroughly.

Although I donā€™t grow many Begonia, this one makes me yearn for more every time I look at it. ā€˜Pink Urchinā€™ is a cultivar of terrarium Begonia that stays short, rambles around, and blooms with beautiful, simple, crystal-white flowers. Although many people consider it tricky, it is actually easy as long as humidity stays above 85% RH and the media is kept damp. Mine grows in a 10ā€ tray sitting in a humidity dome that I only ever look at every month or so.

This is an amazing species of ghost orchid native to several of the Caribbean islands. It is small and relatively inconspicuous compared to its famous relative, Dendrophylax lindenii, but it is still an amazing and rare species to see.

This new compact Potinara is doing things for me. The plant is currently only about 5 inches tall, and the flowers are nearly 2 inches wide. Although they donā€™t have any fragrance, the intense, saturated color certainly makes up for it! This flower is a little past its prime, but itā€™s still beautiful!

We have a few other mini cats on the website right now for anyone interested!
