Our crew completed a full roof replacement on this home, tearing off 56 squares of existing shingles, underlayment, and drip edge all the way down to the decking to ensure this homeowner received a quality roofing system from the foundation up.

We then installed a brand new IKO Roofing System featuring stunning IKO Cambridge architectural shingles in Dual Black — giving this home a clean, bold new look while providing long-lasting protection. 👌

Another foundation repair wrapped up in Fort Worth! Our team recently completed a project where we installed a total of 15 pressed concrete piers. 13 exterior piers and 2 breakout piers to help stabilize this home and address the movement it was experiencing.

One of the questions we get asked the most is:
“If the soil in Texas is always moving, what’s the point of installing piers?”

The answer is simple, while we can’t stop the soil from expanding and contracting, properly installed pressed concrete piers help transfer the weight of the home deeper into more stable bearing soils below the active surface movement. The goal is to help reduce future movement, stabilize the structure, and protect the home from continued settlement damage.

Foundation repair isn’t about making a home “movement proof.” It’s about creating a much stronger and more stable support system for your home than what the shifting surface soils alone can provide.

Catching issues early and maintaining your foundation can make a huge difference over time!

Another major foundation project complete by the Level Up Construction team! 👏

Over the course of 5 days, our crew worked through a significant structural repair to help stabilize this home and address serious movement issues throughout the property.

🔹 Installed 15 new interior piers to address significant elevation loss in the center of the home
🔹 Re-adjusted 28 existing perimeter piers to help stabilize the home’s exterior boundary
🔹 Performed 19 concrete breakouts to access exterior pier heads and make the necessary adjustments

This home had experienced major movement over time, resulting in large interior cracks, exterior separation, and significant structural shifting throughout the property.

Projects like this are a reminder of just how important foundation maintenance and early inspections can be. Catching issues early can often prevent extensive damage and much larger repairs down the road.
