Still getting used to big(ger) city thrifting. I’ve definitely got some favorites. Always drawn to mid century home goods & furnishings. And fun art. Anyway, a couple recent finds are now on my finish color palette. Can’t wait.

Not exaggerating when I say it took at least 5 trips to Home Depot. And about 10 you tube videos, and my video with James from earlier. But...I did it!! 
 
New sink, faucet, drain lines, supply lines. No leaks. Hot is hot and cold is cold. I’m so tired. And hungry. But first, a shower. That was some nasty stuff replacing the drain lines... 
 
Oh, and yes I did in fact install this in my old countertop and cabinets because my old sink/faucet were leaking and beyond repair but I’m not ready yet to replace the cabinets or counters. At least now I know how to do it. And I love that.

I’m not sure if this is a post about my kitchen adventures or a plug for FB marketplace, I swear by it if you’re a diy’er on a budget. 
 
I can’t believe I found everything I decided I liked/wanted within a12 hour window. The right things will come along! You need patience but also vision and the ability to act as soon as you see β€œit”, whatever it is. 
 
For now the sink and faucet will be a temp install till my cabinets are in. The metal will go in my garage till I’m ready for install.

HOUSE TOUR PART II. Second floor. Most excited about the new bathroom I’ll be adding... also the fact I hired a brawny Task Rabbit guy today to move the 3 pieces of furniture out that the seller left. So the spaces are ready for what’s next!!

𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐈: 𝐅𝐒𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐟π₯𝐨𝐨𝐫. Where I live these days. But mostly MY NEW WINDOWS YAY!! Taking a 4 day weekend so I’ll be recording lots of action around here.
