Updating Greater Cleveland slowly but surely 🤗

This bathroom on the border of Seven Hills / Parma just got an upgrade with another herringbone feature!

- soffit removal for the vanity and shower

-removed old tile / plaster, hung new drywall

- re-located the exhaust fan, installed a new "Whisper" quiet exhaust fan

- removed LVP, another concrete / mesh floor, and the subfloor underneath

- installed all new plumbing for the whole bathroom with new shutoff valves. There were some existing issues with the main stack drain and other bathrooms in the house having old LEAD drains that were leaking, so I replaced the ENTIRE main stack pipe from the basement through the roof

- new composite natural stone shower with a double bypass shower door and a 6" LED light with a "night-light" setting

- added a 2nd switch location so the exhaust fan and shower light were seperate from the main lighting for simplicity

- new single panel solid door, frame, and hardware

- new toilet, vanity, mirror, herringbone tile accent wall, towel holder, towel bar, toilet paper holder, LVP, baseboards, door trim, door stopper, vent register

- primed / painted walls and door

The whole 9 yards!

On top of the whole 9 yards, I also tiled a backsplash in the kitchen, replaced 4 shutoff valves in the basement, repaired a detached exhaust duct in the attic, fixed a light fixture in the main hallway, and added smoke detectors / CO2 detectors in the main hallway, and replaced that major plumbing stack mentioned above 😎

Bathroom transformation in West Park!

- Removed the soffit over the shower
- removed 4" concrete slab with mesh subfloor... the house shed thousands of pounds from that alone! 💪

- installed new composite natural stone shower with a custom fit hinged shower door to accommodate the vanity space 😎

- installed a HEATED exhaust fan on its own dedicated circuit. There was no previously installed exhaust fan, so I ran a 4" duct with a damper through the brick to exhaust the new fan outside

- installed new OSB subfloor with an uncoupling membrane for the natural marble herringbone floor, added a couple of 2x8's to strengthen up and level the framing for the new subfloor....

- installed new toilet fl**ge to match the new floor height

- installed over 20ft of new drains from the shower and vanity all the way to the main stack pipe

- installed all new water lines to the shower / vanity / toilet with hammer arrestors to accommodate higher water pressure

- installed new toilet / vanity / mirror

- installed new vinyl window

- installed towel holders, a toilet paper holder, an over-the-toilet cabinet, a door stopper, new baseboards, marble threshold

- re-routed some wires that ran through the soffit, added insulation in the exterior walls

- installed new tape / mud in all of the corners where the previous tape had moisture damage(from not having an exhaust fan), patched a few other blemishes. I also squared up the walls around the vanity to avoid having gaps behind it

- primed and painted all the walls and trim

- added a GFCI outlet

Along with various other drywall and kitchen projects, we have been crushing backsplashes this year! Had a lot of fun doing the custom cuts around the crown molding 💪

We are also excited to have a couple more bathroom remodels coming up on our schedule, cant wait to share when they are complete 😁

The goal here was to turn this unfinished basement into a warm space with a retro vibe to host sports and dance parties 🥳

Multiple TV's, surround sound built into the soffit, a very well preserved couch that was made in 1970, dimmable lighting with night-light settings, and a full kitchenette! I think its safe to say we hit the mark! ✅️

- Removed old knob-and-tube wiring, ran new circuits for lighting and outlets, installed dishwasher / disposal on a dedicated circuit, ran speaker wires from the TVs to the soffit

- I made the speaker cubbies from an old cut-off of a black walnut live edge countertop I did years ago

- ran new pex plumbing and drain line for the kitchenette, ran a Reverse Osmosis water line to the fridge and a secondary spout at the sink

- framed all of the walls, added blocking for TV's / cabinetry / barn door. Custom framed the soffit so the drywall is only 1/4" below the beam(max possible height clearance)

- rented a machine to grind down some high spots on the concrete, poured floor leveler, installed a 6mil poly sheeting, then installed LVP flooring

- used rounded corner beads on the drywall and got a nice Level-5 mud finish. I did a ceiling inspection before hanging the drywall ceiling and found a slow-drip leak on their existing plumbing, I made the repair before it got covered up with drywall 💪

The customers opted to install their own backsplash at a later time!

We are looking to fill up our schedule with larger projects! Please reach out to schedule a free estimate 😁

Here is our most recent bathroom remodel!

- removed the subfloor down to the joists

- installed OSB / cement board / uncoupling membrane / tile

- removed plaster around the chimeny, and re-framed those walls to add room for a bigger vanity

- moved heat / air ducts from the chimney to underneath the vanity

- added an outlet for the new toilet with a built-in bidet, which is the nicest toilet I've ever seen! It has hot/cold water, a seat warmer, a blow dryer, you don't even need toilet paper 😳

- removed soffit above shower, moved wiring from the soffit into the attic

- new shower over a steel / porcelain shower pan

- new lighting in the shower with a night-light option

- new exhaust fan

- new vanity / mirror / light fixture over mirror / towel bars

- completely replaced old cast iron drains for the vanity and shower, also moved the shower fixtures to the left-hand wall per the customers request

- drywall patching, matching ceiling texture near the chimney, and painting

Left NO stone unturned 💪

A nice elderly couple wanted to keep their drop-in tub, and add the option for a shower. They had requested the L-shaped glass for a nice open feel when used it as a tub, which turned out great! We also installed multiple grab bars in all 3 bathrooms for them! ♥️

I have been so busy in the field that I haven't taken the time to post any pictures of my last few jobs.

I have a couple showers and kitchen tile jobs to show off at some point, but for now here's a sneak peak of a basement remodel!

I talked the customer into these rounded corner beads, cant wait to show them finished! The last picture is what they look like when finished!

A tree fell and hit the power line coming into this home, which pulled on the conduit and damaged the meter socket.

I replaced the meter socket and bolted it to the house to prevent the same thing happening again, put new clamps on, and installed a vinyl base before the new siding gets installed.

Coordinated with the home owner, the building department, First Energy, and the insurance company to make it all happen!
