My latest bathroom project. 2 walk in showers, one with a 14inch curb with a tub style overflow and drain stop so customer can fill up and soak, and one curbless ADA compliant. We had to do some creative redesign of the master bedroom closets and entry door to enlarge doorways to 36”to accommodate wheelchair access. Project also included adding an I beam in crawl space to support a load bearing wall that was being carried by a single floor joist.

A contemporary flavor. The homeowner absolutely loves what she calls her “hotel bathroom”. One day I’ll remember to get before pictures, this bathroom was quite a transformation.

After about 5 design changes, I think we came up with the most efficient use of a challenging space in this century home. With pitched ceilings on both sides, we custom built a 5’x3’ walk in shower on one side, and used 12” deep wall cabinets with a quartz counter top on the other. Building the shower on the wall with the pitched ceilings allowed us to enlarge from a 3’x3’ one piece fiberglass unit to a roomy 5’x 3’ custom tiled beauty, it also allowed us to save the window for natural light. The 12”deep wall cabinets allow for some much needed storage as a 21” or 24” deep cabinets wouldn’t function properly so close to the toilet. Thanks to the homeowner for his trust and patience!
