Richard is a philanthropist, a dreamer, a problem solver and more, even at 87! "Fleischman has left a lasting impression on Cleveland. After founding his own architecture firm in 1961, he completed more than 400 projects in Northeast Ohio.... Fleischman and his wife, Helen Moss, who died in 2013, hosted more than 30 fundraisers at his 111-year-old mansion in Bratenahl in an effort to give back. RF+PA is proud to be partnering with Enrique Norten / TEN Arquitectos on NASA Glenn Research Center - check out this great article! ....The question of public space is central to Norten’s practice, as it represents the largest good that an architectural project can deliver to its environment. “I don’t believe that the whole modern idea of architecture as an object … really sustains itself anymore. I only see architecture as part of a texture…and it’s a texture where everybody is contributing to the creation of what we call public space.”

We launched our Blog, please read more on The Super School, a project on which Richard, Carlos and Travis have been working hard!

RF+PA responded to a design competition which encouraged re-thinking the way in which we educate our youth. School design hasn’t been altered much over the years and therefore reflects the thinking and solutions of a different era. Most of our public high schools were built in an industrial economy…

It is such an honor working on the University of Cincinnati campus! We are proud that Morgens Hall has won awards and we are currently working on Scioto, the sister dorm to Morgens which should be complete by July.
