What a whirlwind weekend — and what a SUCCESS 🎄✨

Last weekend’s Holiday Market was absolutely incredible. Since then, I’ve been working non-stop to complete 30+ custom orders in record time — whew! 😅 Shew… what a ride.

But honestly? It was SO much fun. Getting to spend the weekend with so many of you, sharing great conversations, laughs, and watching you connect with our work is exactly why I do this. 💛

It’s hard to believe we have to wait another year to do this show again — but I’m already counting down. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth, supported True North Wood Designs, and made this event so special.

✨ What an incredible day at the Holiday Market! ✨
Channel 3 stopped by and featured True North Wood Designs and some other amazing vendors. We had so much fun being part of such an amazing event. It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces — and meeting new ones too! ❤️

Hey friends! ⭐💙

I know I’ve been a little quiet on here lately — so sorry for not posting as much! I’ve been hustling in the workshop trying to keep up with the amazing wave of Etsy orders (you all are incredible 🙌), and getting everything ready for our holiday market on December 5 & 6. Busy hands, full heart. ❤️🎄

But I HAD to take a moment to show you this new beauty!
This 3-layer night sky home ornament is one of my favorites I’ve made this season — from the deep blue starry backdrop and moonlit trees to the white front layer framing that cozy little house. And of course, the message that brings it all home:

🎨 In the middle of cranking out a flood of Etsy orders, a customer asked if I could supersize her Chinese Checkers board... and of course I was like, “let’s find out!” 😄

This nearly 18-inch engraved beauty turned out so good — the detail, the shine, the marbles — everything about it just pops! ✨ I might have to make this oversized version a regular in the lineup 👀

✨ Have you ever swum with sea turtles? 🐢💦
The first time I did was in Kauai — and I’ll never forget it. Watching them glide through the water so calm, so effortless… it was pure magic 🌴🌊. Later, living in Florida, I got lucky enough to see them all the time 🏖️💛. Honestly, I miss those days… and the beach too.

So I wanted to try and bring a little bit of that ocean magic into this next piece of wall art 🎨🪵. This Handmade Wooden Sea Turtle Wall Art is made from over 400 pieces of wood, layered and stained to create depth that pulls you right in 🌊✨. It’s like having the sea on your wall 🌎💙.

I’ve been busy making… and making… and making this summer 😅🪵✨ so instead of releasing it all at once...I'll be releasing a new project every 3 or 4 days....but for now! I’m so excited to finally share this new piece of art with you all! This intarsia inspired wooden lighthouse wall art has been crafted piece by piece using multiple different types of wood — cut, shaped, painted, stained, and finished with a smooth satin shine. 🌊⚓🏠

I grew up with lighthouses everywherw in my life. Ok not like "real" lighthouses but pictures and statues and cards and and and ... Visiting them was always such a cool thing to see in person too. They are, after all, meant to be seen 👀.....but I've always loved anything to do with nautical elements, the ocean and the beach too so this one was dear to my heart as it brought all these elements together. (Ok well the beach is pushing it a little...BUT THERE IS A SHORE LINE!) 🤪

ANYWAYZZZ....I can’t wait to show you so much more that’s been coming to life in the shop lately. Stay tuned… lots of exciting things ahead!
