Master bathroom remodel completed in Climax, MI. This one was a full transformation from an outdated layout to a clean, modern space built for everyday comfort and function. We removed the old garden tub, relocated the shower, installed a new double vanity, and updated the entire room with new drywall, flooring, trim, lighting, paint, and accessories. Everything was rebuilt from the ground up to give the homeowners a brighter, more open master bath that will last for years. If you’re thinking about remodeling your bathroom, feel free to reach out for a quote.

Just wrapped up this basement bathroom remodel in Vicksburg. The original space was outdated and had moisture issues behind the walls, so we removed everything that was affected and rebuilt it the right way.

This remodel includes a new shower with tile look wall surround panels, updated vanity and fixtures, lighting, new toilet, new drop ceiling, new flooring, fresh trim, and paint throughout. The finished result is clean, modern, and built to hold up long term.

We handle bathroom and basement remodels from start to finish, demo, repairs, and full rebuild, all done in house.

This is what improper flashing over time and a lack of experience when work is done can cause. As you can see, there was recent roof work done in this corner, shown by the new lumber in the second and third photos, which allowed water intrusion to occur.
I removed an exterior door expecting a normal replacement and uncovered this. A completely rotted header and king and jack studs, leaving the framing essentially unrecognizable. Years of water intrusion had destroyed the framing to the point where there was nothing structurally sound left to fasten a new door to.
This was not visible from the outside or the inside. The trim looked fine and the drywall on the interior hid the problem. The door worked. But behind it, everything had failed.
The only safe option was to remove all of the damaged material and completely reframe the opening before installing a new exterior door and flashing it correctly.
This is why proper flashing, water management, and doing things the right way matter, especially on exterior openings.
If you ever wonder why a simple door swap sometimes turns into more work, this is exactly why.

We’re a family-owned, local business that keeps crews small and projects limited so every job gets the attention it deserves. That means clear communication, respect for your time, and customer service that doesn’t disappear once work starts. We care about doing right by our customers and their homes, not pushing volume. If you’re comparing options and want quality over shortcuts, feel free to reach out.

An oldie but a good one. A storm came through and dropped a tree onto this roof, damaging the eave and destroying the fascia, soffit, and part of the roof. We replaced everything and worked alongside the homeowner’s insurance to get it taken care of properly. Piece of cake!

Before photos of the next project. Two bathrooms, a main bath and a master, with a ton of potential. This one is going to be a big transformation and I can’t wait to share how it turns out.

Went from two small bedrooms to a full master suite with a walk-in closet and master bath, one of the most extreme remodels I’ve done so far. You can’t even tell it’s the same space. Proud to have done this one right here in my hometown of Climax!

This house was built in 1920 on Broadway blvd in Battle Creek. It never gets old seeing what’s hidden under later updates. When we removed the aluminum siding from the 1970s, we uncovered the original cedar shake siding from 1920.
Cedar was commonly used at the time because it was durable, rot-resistant, and readily available. When installed correctly, this type of siding was meant to last decades—and clearly did. Discovering details like this is one of the best parts of working on older homes.
And check out the car in the original photo—a Model T–era vehicle from around 1920. Pretty wild to see how much has changed.

During demo we uncovered the original ceiling, complete with original ceiling wallpaper and a floor register dating back nearly 200 years. Before modern HVAC, these openings allowed heat and air to move freely between floors. We removed later additions and brought the room back to its original ceiling height. Loved how this one came together.
