Rathjen's Landscaping is seeking a full time lawn crew member who is hard working, shows attention to detail, experience in the landscaping field is preferred. Preferred applicant should be able to mow straight lines, and trim with attention to details. Applicant must be able to think for themselves and be dedicated to the standard of care and quality we put into every job. Work with new well maintained equipment and trucks that make your job easier. Pay starting at $18-20 per hour starting pay based on work ethic, efficiency, skills and experience. Additional conpensation can be available to more experienced applicants. A huge shoutout to our amazing crew for finishing off this 1200 foot long dry stacked fieldstone wall. Though it has been a relatively mild winter the mud has been a challenge. We prepped the wall footing in the fall but the area around the wall was muddy leaving a few inches of mud on your boots by the end of the day.

Swipe to the right for the before picture. This area of dense overgrowth was no match for our Cat 299xe and forestry mulcher. Thinning out the brush and dead trees allows the larger hardwood trees to not get choked out by vines and fight for water and nutrients from the other vegetation. The forestry mulcher shreds all the debris and reincorporates it into the soil adding more organic matter back into the soil which helps existing trees and helps allow new vegetation to take its place.
