At VINCO Painting we are dedicated to safety. Here are a few things to remember when usings LADDERS:

Heres some safety reminders for using ladders:
1. Check the ladder for defects, checking for cracks, corrosion and that bolts and rivets are secure. Dispose or return defective ladders. Do not use wooden ladders.
2. Use a fiberglass ladder if there is any chance of contact with electricity.
3. When setting the ladder, look for a safe location with firm, level footing and rigid support for the top of the ladder.
4. Be sure to set it at an angle of as close to 75 degrees as possible and use
THE 4 to 1 Rule:
When placing your ladder, remember the four-to-one rule: for every four feet of height you have to climb, move the base one foot away
5. When climbing off a ladder at an upper level, make sure the ladder extends 3 feet above the landing.
6. When climbing the ladder, use three points of contact,
keep 1 hand and both feet or both hands and 1 foot in contact with the ladder at all times.
7. Avoid setting the ladder near exit doors, near the path of pedestrian or vehicular traffic.

The complete restoration and repainting of The Whitherspoon House on Rockford Boulevard is worth a picture! This is the 3rd time Iv repainted the estate and I am certain it wont be the last. The Spokane Historical Society considers the 104 year old structure a landmark of the citys classic family dwellings, Im very proud to have been selected as the master finisher on this home.
