Before & after: home office edition ✨️
When designing a space, start from a birdseye view. How can we best use this space, both functionally and beautifully? How will it best serve the family? We created a textured accent wall with grasscloth wallpaper. We re-used the bookshelves, simply updating them by adding wallpaper to the back, matching the accent wall. This custom desk allows for them to have separate desks *and* a shared space. The shelves were decorated with a mix of "shop your own home" items and a few new items. Oh, also, I ate approximately 1000 peanut m&ms during this install.

Progress 😍 at a local project. I am so grateful for the work I get to do. Thrifted marble-top dresser mixed with modern lamp. Vintage-inspired headboard cushion made custom for this modern bed frame. Sticks are from outside 😆. Bedding from . More to come as we build out the bedding and decor in this bedroom.

👋🏼 Recently added to my guest room - this beautiful vintage art piece, paired with my two birds. 💚
This little vignette can be seen through the doorway from many spots in the rest of the house. I love moments like these that draw you into each room. A beautiful moment.

The tree art that I added here was found at a local barn sale in Richmond, Vermont. Signed, what looks like, "A.G. Estay".

Before & after of a small bathroom makeover. She just wanted the space to have a lighter feel, be updated, and "filled-in/complete". Other than adding the shiplap, there was not a ton needed to finish out this half bath. Small spaces can be simple, yet have a huge impact. Now she can feel confident when a guest comes over and uses the restroom. YouTube video of the transformation is out now.

In a small corner of my dining room stands these pots. A small addition to the room, but an important addition to the overall design. They add character, texture, and interest while leaving enough negative space for my brain to breathe. These vintage pots perfectly balance my modern dining table. And yes, I thrifted them - one from Facebook Marketplace and the other from a local thrift shop.

How do you like to feel in your personal space? In mine, I like to paint the walls off-white and add color with my furnishings. I like it light and bright, with a little fun mixed in. Although, coming soon, I did create a really moody guest room 💚. Stay tuned for that 😎.
