A big investment in a tiny home! Karen and Darwin in Alburg bought a kit shed and are turning it into a place of year round comfort. 3 inches of closed cell spray polyurethane foam all the way around gave them the best possible R-value with such limited space. After insulating, their small window A/C unit brought the temp from over one hundred degrees to a cool 56 in less than an hour! Another ecstatic customer. Thanks to Dale in North Hero for reaching out! An inch and a half of spray-applied polyurethane closed cell foam four feet down the wall to below grade. Exterior box sill sprayed with 8” SPF in multiple passes. Completely sealing the box sills in between floors is essential in these island camps!
