This is a project that I designed earlier this year on Table Rock Lake. The first photo is a view of the lake from the kitchen and thru the living room. The exterior photos are views from the lake up to the house. The last image is the architectural rendering that was developed during the design phase of the project. I love it when the design becomes reality.

Another painting from the trip to Michigan. This is the lighthouse at Big Sable Point, Ludington State Park. The Big Lake (Michigan) is in the background.

It was a 1.5 mile hike, something that I couldn't have done prior to having knee replacement surgery this year. I am thankful for the technology and skill set of the medical staff that has me active again.

I painted this on site while using an electrical transformer as an easel. The transformer was labeled high voltage, but I have faith in the IBEW had it properly grounded.

Renee and I took a trip up to Michigan last week to visit Ty and the Murphy's. The painting below is of the Painted Frog Gallery in Pentwater.

This is an interesting project. The Miner's Theater in Collinsville is a theater that was built in the early 1900's by the coal miners in the area. They funded the construction of the theater with contributions from their pay. My involvement includes the design of a new marquee for the facility. The background image was created by a 3-D lidar scanning technique, the design was created over the image to show the appearance of the marquee on the original facade of the building.

This project is almost complete. Signage will be added, metal shades over the windows on the south side and solar panels on the roof are the only items remaining. The solar panels will be behind the parapet wall and won't be visible from the street.

Captured this photo of a past project yesterday. Lighting was perfect. Kruta Bakery in Collinsville is the subject. Wonderful bakery!

Things are progressing at 506 Vandalia. Approximately 75% of the masonry has been laid, the roof is on and the roof top units (HVAC) have been set. The owners are considering a roof mounted solar array for the facility. The low slope roof is surrounded by a parapet wall, so the solar panels will not be visible which will be a perfect installation from the architect's perspective.

Update on the project at 506 Vandalia in Collinsville. Brick has been delivered. Sheathing has been installed on the exterior and glulam beams have been installed above the entrance.

We have a building. A good days work for the crew from Limbaugh Construction.

This project is an office building for Legacy Planning and Thrivent Financial. Located at 506 Vandalia in Collinsville, IL. The drone images were captured this morning. I plan to photograph the building throughout the day and am anxious to see the final form.
