🌱 Thinking about moving your plants outside? Here’s your sign… but timing matters.

We put together our own 30-day temperature outlook for the Columbia area, sourced from various online outlets, and here’s the takeaway:

Early May is still a little unpredictable — cool nights dipping into the 40s and possibly even upper 30s can stress young plants. But by mid-May, things start to level out, and by late May we’re looking at consistent warm temps with highs in the 80s and overnight lows in the 60s 👌

👉 What that means for your garden:

• Hold off on putting sensitive plants out just yet
• Start hardening them off now if you haven’t already
• Safer window to fully move things outside is around May 10–15 (as seen in photo)
• After that, it’s prime growing season 🌞

Missouri weather always keeps us on our toes, but this is shaping up to be a solid start to the season.
