Here we go, ready or not! ❄️ 🌬❄️ Make sure your air filters are clean. Lower your set point on your thermostats as low as you can tolerate to save $$ on electric & gas bills and to help with the demand.

Once the snow starts accumulating, make sure to keep snow cleared away from your Heat pump on all 4 sides so that air can move through your unit as the fan blows.

Check on your elderly neighbors. Stay safe & stay warm.

❄️ Frigid and partly sunny today, high 18°. Snow arrives late tonight with 2-4" by morning. Sunday brings heavy snow & sleet accumulating an additional 6-10" with sleet mixing in the afternoon/evening. High 23°. Winds increase tomorrow evening causing blowing & drifting. Travel will be extremely difficult tomorrow. Bitter cold returns next week with highs near 20° and subzero wind chills lingering.

Be prepared BEFORE the storm by filling up your tanks & stocking your groceries. During the storm, be sure to keep your furnace vent pipes clear of snow AND your dryer vent. Please check on your neighbors, especially the elderly. Keep the snow cleared around your Heat Pump also. Stay safe 🙏

🌤️ Partly sunny, breezy & warmer today, high 45.° Gusty west winds this afternoon. Tomorrow turns colder with a high near 34° and brisk winds. Arctic air arrives Saturday with highs in the teens. Snow develops Saturday night, heaviest accumulation 2+"/hr likely Sunday morning. Snow looks like it will mix with sleet as the storm pulls away.

Ice is cool but not when it's blocking your intake vent to your furnace! Check your intake & exhaust vents.
