How to clean your garbage disposal...
How to Clean with Ice:
Add Ice & Salt/Citrus: Pour a few handfuls of ice cubes into the disposal, followed by a cup of rock salt or a few lemon wedges for extra cleaning and deodorizing.
Run Cold Water: Turn on the cold water to a steady stream.
Turn On Disposal: Run the disposal for about 15-20 seconds, or until you hear the ice grinding and the sound changes to a smoother hum.
Rinse Thoroughly: Let the water run for another 30 seconds after grinding to flush everything out.
