Thank you all for your support and business. For the time being, I cannot take on additional projects. I have been sustained by your faith in me and willingness to allow me to create. I have taken a full time carpentry position with a company and there is more work than I can handle with no end in sight. Perhaps down the road I will be able to continue to help design and build for your custom projects. The few days I’m able to take off I must spend with my family if at all possible.

Just in time for a family Christmas, this fireplace entertainment suite came together! The fireplace surround was custom built to match the refinished book cases and a lap board wall treatment caps it all off. The electric firebox is a an efficient addition. The facade is ready for tile, stone, or anything the homeowner desires! Such a fun build!

It’s getting cold in the shop, this should help! This beauty is going in a basement den flanked by a set of matched book cases and capped off with a custom ship lap wall treatment. A plain basement wall will be transformed into a cozy, remote controlled fireplace for the den. Installation later this week, stay tuned for the final product!

Cutting a curve that hits the base cabinets in all the right places... this counter top will proudly sit atop a set of base cabinets and be the starting point for a set of uppers that will fill a wall beautifully. The finish on this will reflect the clients’s love of bourbon and craftsmanship as we will char the surface with a torch prior to final top coat. Tomorrow, we sand and torch!!!

About a half inch at a time! It’s a slow process but well worth the effort! Keep an eye on the pile of shavings on the left building up! Who needs mulch???
