Our story began with store owner, Thomas Hickey's, desire for a creative outlet away from his 9-5 desk job. After serving six years active duty in the United States Army, he wanted to continue working with his hands and problem-solving in civilian life. Combined with his natural artistic abilities, creating handcrafted works comes easily. He pulls inspiration from every day nuances and needs aroun

A month ago, we were expecting to be slammed with wedding orders as we planned the expansion of our business. We were dreaming up building our forever home with a workshop on the land so we could continue to grow Patriot Crafted little by little. Our plans have changed a bit, but that doesn’t mean we give up. Life is not a straight line to the top, it’s full of plateaus, mistakes and pitfalls. Your perspective can make all the difference. We are not seeing this as a loss, but an opportunity to take a breath, work on new projects and keep pushing forward.

I never dreamed I would own my own woodworking business. We built this through literal blood, sweat and tears and COVID19 won’t take that away.
