A huge thank you to Midge R., a past Texas Solatube customer and our most recent triple-crown Columbus Solatube client. She allowed us to brighten three rooms of her new home over the span of a couple days due to rain - two bathrooms and the kitchen.

Another Solatube Ambassador is born!! Many thanks to Sara M., of Dublin, OH, who chose us over a traditional skylight to brighten her son's bathroom. We also installed a Whole House Fan during this visit.

"Todd came out to install a whole house fan and since we had been thinking about doing a skylight in an upstairs, interior bathroom, he talked to me about their Solatube skylight. He said he could do both the same day. We LOVE both, but being that it’s cold outside, we’re getting more out of the skylight at the moment. It makes such a HUGE difference and makes it feel much more light and airy! He also identified some minor things we could do to improve energy efficiency in our home then followed up about it too! I would definitely recommend Todd to anyone and will use them again in the future!"

Pat and Dick L., of Marysville, OH, had trouble with the extreme heat in their attached garage. They kept their garage door open all summer long, which poses a security problem and is also very ineffective at reducing heat buildup. The best solution was Solatube's Garage Fan. The fan motor is available in 1500 and 3000 cfm and is operated by a remote control. We professionally installed the necessary air inlets in the garage door and painted the grills with the condo community's approved color. Now Pat and Dick simply have to hit a button on the remote control to cool off their garage and attic above.

As Ed and Sandy C., of Upper Arlington, OH, recently discovered, Indow inserts help keep your air conditioning inside your home and reduce the heat and harmful ultraviolet rays coming in through your windows. We can even install Indow thermal panels in most skylights!

One of the perks of meeting so many interesting people is seeing some very cool homes, toys, and projects. We recently installed a 6000 Whole House Fan in Ray M.'s Blacklick, OH, home. Ray is a professional race car driver and also an airplane pilot. He has some great toys, including this Alpha Romeo and experimental helicopter under construction. Very fun experience for the Green Home Ohio team.
