I had two customers this week call about their air conditioner not cooling and that the thermostat was blank. I reminded them to check and see if their thermostat had batteries and if so to replace them and then see if everything comes on. I recommend to replace your batteries seasonally to keep things working and avoid possible corrosion.

I had a person call today wanting information on the REME- HALO air purifier and what it would cost him to have me install it. I gave him my price and he wanted me to install one in his system, there was just one small problem he was about five hours away in Dallas. Other contractors up there were apparently charging a lot more for this product. Be sure to check your prices.

Had a customer worrying about the refrigerant that their air conditioner uses R-22 would still be around after January 2020. I assured them that it will be available for many more years but that the cost would increase.

I had a customer today that was fearing the worst about her air conditioner, hoping that she didn’t need to buy a new one. I completed a normal spring check and found a bug in the points of the contactor. She was delighted that there was nothing majorly wrong. Just a reminder to everyone that spring is here and with all the rain that we have had the bugs are out so keep the debris away from your condenser.

This is why you should never have your dryer vent to close to your air conditioning condenser, this is the result and you can eventually damage your equipment if not serviced.
